Wedding photographers/couples - at what point when booking a wedding photographer do you start paying just for the brand and not the work/deliverables? 10k? 20k? 50k? Obviously having someone like Jose Villa photograph your wedding comes with that notoriety (not to say his work isn’t amazing and he didn’t set the bar for luxury weddings), but when does the value in work/services end the the brand name drives the price point? Above that, you’re paying for a name which carries a good experience, high expectations, a good reputation, the right network, and often privacy.
