Gets more complicated as India sits own its own plate so would not be part of Eurasia if using plate tectonics to define continents. If you go back farther in prehistory, even Eurasia were separate plates too: Plates pushing together is how mountains are formed which is why the Greeks considered the Ural mountains splitting Russia as a the boundary between Europe and Asia.
