My boss pulled me into my 1 on 1 and then proceeded to say I have to come physically update her on things I'm doing during the day. She's too busy to read emails or teams messages and accused me of not completing assignments. When I mentioned I had, she said emails were for everyone else. She also said this was a safe space and I could tell her anything. I could be free to be myself. Ma'am, that feels like a trap. (For context, I've had several issues with this boss over the last four years).
