I saw "Joker: Folie A Deux" this afternoon, and I've got some (non-spoiler) thoughts. 1. First, it is absolutely essential to see "Joker" before watching the new one, or you will be completely lost. 2. Leave the kids at home, this is violent and unhinged AF. 3. The angry incel population that worshipped at the altar of the first movie five years ago is probably going to hate this one, and I love that for them. 1/2

We would talk at coffee on some mornings and he was pretty mum about the writing but he said he was worried about outdoing and doing Justice to the first Joker. So curious to see it.
