I often take remote lessons because I can visit my American teacher once a year from Japan. However, in-person lessons are much better because we can listen to the real sound, especially, resonance. If you prepare an omnidirectional microphone, good speakers, and a big monitor, remote lessons are helpful when you cannot visit your teacher.
