You are focusing on the wrong thing. Is it more important to have a constant huge amount of followers, or connecting with your followers through your art? To me connecting my art to my followers is more important, because my art is an extension of me. You can have all the numbers in the world, but to have genuine people that appreciate your art is more important than numbers.
