Let me make this clear to my religious leaders: If your sermons focus on condemning the LGBTQ community but stay silent on domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, racism, or the demonization of migrants, then you lack courage. You have no spiritual authority to tell me what God calls us to do. I am doing God’s work, guided by what Jesus showed us: love, compassion, and justice.
