Gentle reminder (including myself): An overinflated ego is the bane of anything. Kung sobrang bilib ka sa sarili mo, wala ka nang gagawin kung hindi protektahan ang imahe mo at all costs. Egotists surround themselves with people who will maintain that image instead of those who will encourage growth and evolution. Someone drowning in arrogance will take any criticism as an attack and would rather welcome a dizzying revolving door of sheep. Arrogance is the death of creativity.
