Yep. It sucks ass, but parents are unfortunately within their rights to deny their children medical care unless it’s actively life threatening. My dad refused to let my brothers doctor stop prescribing a medication that is not only incredibly high risk, but wasn’t even indicated by any of his diagnoses. The law allows parents to treat their children like objects and seems to encourage spiteful partners tormenting the other through their children.
