Parents if your kid doesn’t eat what you made for dinner, do you make them something else or not? We make them something else but was just curious!

I absolutely do, unless it's something I know they like. Everyone's taste buds are different.

Yes, because there are days that I plan on eating leftovers and then realize “hmm, really don’t want that today” and I order food instead. So, I try to remember that my kids can be the same way. They may not want what’s served and I will NOT let them go to bed hungry for it. The second option will be something simple, but they do get another option.

I start by not making shit my kid wouldn’t eat for dinner…work smarter, not harder. Everyone wins!

My oldest is super picky so she goes through her phases of mac n cheese, chicken nuggets/tenders/patties, or cheese pizza. She’s old enough to use the air fryer or microwave if she wants to have that. I was picky as a kid too so I understand her pickiness but I wish she would at least try new things because when she does, she’ll like it.

I don't make them something else, but I do allow them to make themselves something else, and offer suggestions and assistance if absolutely necessary
