I've always wanted to ask people's opinion on something. My mother and I have had our fair share of arguments between laughter. She hasn't said this to me since I was younger, but when we would fight she'd say, (to paraphrase): "I don't enjoy this. Why would I have ever wanted a child if I couldn't enjoy them?" I can't quite find the words express how disturbing I find this, or exactly why, but I do. Am I wrong?
