Recently was hit on repeatedly by a super drunk DJ (I was wearing a wedding ring). I don’t get paid enough to manage drunk vendors on top of everything else we manage 🥴 ik not every vendor who drinks at weddings is getting drunk but I just don’t think at your job is the right place to be drinking, even if it’s a party job.

Was about to head out. I got cornered by the whole wedding party and bride to take a shot with them, I told them NO! I’m a light weight! I’ll never get home! - 30 minutes later I’m in my parking lot calling my husband to pick me up, he threw me in the tub, I slept real good that night. PEER-PRESSER sucks! So back to a hard NO! Lol

Having worked a ton of weddings, it’s all about your own professionalism. If the wedding couple or host in general says it’s ok, then I have no argument. They are paying for it! As an owner/planner I monitor and make sure my team knows to watch the serve. They shouldn’t, and I haven’t ever seen, photographers or the band take advantage or slam back shots. This is why you choose your team carefully :)
