2. AA 2636 LGA-ORD. The cabin was 80-85 degrees when I boarded with, again, low oxygen. I asked the flight attendants if they could ask the pilots to turn on the APU. They said we'd be pushing back any minute and graciously offered to let me stand at the door. One gave me ice water with a wet paper towel. Finally, the engines started, and the air conditioning started, too. No one else seemed bothered in the slightest, and I'm panicking--worried about passing out. Has anyone noticed this before?
