Humility doesn’t necessarily mean never celebrating accomplishments. I don’t like the no celebration rules. Yes, there are ways to do it more respectfully than others & I guess that’s hard to make a rule about so it’s become a total black & white thing. But I don’t like teaching kids that humility = acting as if you never achieved anything. Not sure what an alternative could be & I do value sportsmanship, however removing all excitement over achievement, IMHO, isn’t ideal either.
