Unpopular opinion: Is anyone else getting annoyed with how people are still hyping up acotar and making it their whole personality? I get the hype. It’s a good series don’t get me wrong. But there are also other extremely good fantasy books but every other post I see is acotar like everywhere. And I just think it’s getting a little played out. Anywho, can someone recommend a fantasy book or series to me that is NOT written by Sarah J Maas?? Bookthreads

I loved it and appreciated it for what it was. But the Drowned Empire series is my Roman Empire.

My problem is people making it their whole personality. And all they talk about or post about is acotar. Or SJM. I’m not yucking anyone’s yum. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I read acotar and I didn’t see the hype cause I’ve read better fantasy books IMO. not everyone is a big fan of SJM and that’s okay too.

9 天內	Angelica Fumakazi Bazúlé madanjean21	The Flesh and Fire series by Jennifer Armentrout is amazing. I’m currently on book 2 and it has not disappointed so far.
