Put a bowl of candy outside our door while our son and I went trick or treating. Not long after we heard kids and I opened the door to see 3 kids running off having emptied it entirely. 200 pieces before the night began. I went for a walk around the block to calm down but also I saw them as I turned the third corner, but they didn’t recognize me or anything.

When I was a kid it was always disappointing to walk up to a porch only to find that the homeowners only left the light on because there was a bowl set out. Those bowls never had candy because the first kids always wiped them out.
一天內	Deb d_bloomings	If my child did something like this, and this was how it played out? I would 100% be marching them back to your home to apologize. Play dumb games, win dumb prizes. You want to make bad choices? Here are the consequences. I’d rather my child learn these lessons as a child/teen before they have real, life long consequences. I have conversations w/them about that kind of thing all the time. Good on those parents.
