I was thinking about this again the other day-so frustrating that literally any amount of representation, people will freak the hell out and be like ‘we’re boycotting this! It’s being shoved down my throat I don’t wanna see it.’ And in an hour and a half movie there’s like two sentences; maybe a couple of kisses. In a game there’s a couple of pride flags. Maybe you can choose your pronouns. In a 60hr game maybe there’s like five minutes in total that there’s dialogue about it.

Well no. Your not making games. Your getting hired into studios that make our games and injecting your ideology in them and crying/calling ppl homophobic if you dont get your way.

As a gay POC gamer never once have I said I needed to myself in a game 💀I just played because I liked the game. Now these games being released are pretty garbage. I’ll take the white man making games again if this is the path we’re on.

Honestly I see way more people complaining about the gamers who hate diversity than I've seen gamers actually hating on diversity and not mediocre products that have a diverse cast/dev team

Baldurs gate, borderlands, mass effect, Skyrim, all of these are games that are critically acclaimed and massive in gaming culture, they're also games where you can play as or see representation of sexual, racial, and religious minorities but never have people complaining and calling them woke like they do a lot of other games because unlike a lot of the more recent games that get shit on by the anti woke crowd they are actually just good games with trans gay or black characters
