Why, do you wonder, is it that sometimes you can change and sometimes you can't?
When you are ready to heal, all positive reinforcement will only get you so far. If you tell yourself that you just have to be happy or to just have good thoughts - to monitor and control everything you feel and say to be positive no matter what - you still suppress a crucial part of yourself. The part that feels abandoned, angry, hurtful. The part that wants to scream, cry and lash out. (1/4)
