Because that’s how Church wanted it plain and simple. Don’t believe for a second the KJV of the Bible has ALL of Yeshua’s teachings in it, because it doesn’t. Yeshua (Jesus) was given up and sold out by the Jews, only to later be crucified by the Romans. The Roman Catholic Church was only gonna release a version that was of the best interest to themselves.
