I've done both for years (as well as dabbling in sewing, weaving, spinning, and embroidery), but crochet seems to be in vogue these days (and it was literally in Vogue like '22 or '23? Lol). But I look around at all my recent projects and realize I knit 1 toddler sweater and 2 pairs of socks in the last couple months & crocheted 2 shawls, a fall leaf garland, 4 swiffer covers, a roly poly, a bunny, a seatbelt cover... definitely been doing more crochet lately 🤣

I do both! I’m better at crochet because I learned at like 7, but I’ve been teaching myself knitting in the last year or so!
