Two things that are readily apparent from this election cycle - we need to bring back civics/public policy and basic economics education, if not too late. Shocking how many people probably believe this about Trump’s tariff proposals when it should have been dismissed out-of-hand. We FINALLY have a strong, viable and COMPETITIVE (won’t be for long if Musk wins) industrial policy program in this county (that also happy to be green) - the CHIPS and the Inflation Reduction Act. Both threatened.
