If it falls into the societal category of “cool when rich people do it, sad/trashy when poor people do it” it’s not a privilege. Being skinny falls into this category. Being pretty is “cool” no matter what. I acknowledge the hardships fat people face but the dichotomy isn’t fat vs skinny (maybe it’s thin or straight size?) and things don’t continue to get easier the more extreme you go.

How does being skinny get you privilege? The problem is fat people want everything changed to fit them but they need to take another look at that. I’m not privileged because I fit in a chair.

As a skinny girl, yes. I’ve had to genuinely correct a guy before for telling me (in front of my bigger friends) that I was the “best looking one out the group”, when in fact everyone’s face card was f*cking TEA! So for him to degrade them & uplift me just bc they weren’t his body preference, I didn’t hold back the read I gave him after that bc nigga, did you think I was gonna be flattered by that? Some people are truly just ignorant 😒🤦🏽‍♀️
