These hours where we think we found the perfect house, but are waiting to hear from various people about cost of work that needs to be done and financing options before we can make a bid, while hoping nobody else has even driven past our perfect house, are excruciating, and even more so because this is all for my mom who hated pretty much every other house we walked through for different reasons so it was a rare moment when she looked at me and said she loves this house.
