I’m almost certain that car and bike manufacturers are going to have to lobby the government to push for insurance firms to be further regulated. You’re the fourth person I’ve seen (the other three I directly know) that have had to sidestep new purchase simply based on the periphery charges that come with ownership. Insurance on one scoped £8k purchase was £3k…. Absolutely insane. Loss for the economy due to what seems to be essentially scalping.
