My brain doesn’t work like other people’s. My favorite Mexican joint is super fast. Like you order and in less than 10 minutes you’re back out the door with your takeout. One day I went there. Place was packed. I figured they are always fast though so I order anyway. After like 60 minutes I don’t have food, so I ask “What’s up?” Guy says, “Cinco de Mayo.” So now, whenever I want Mexican I ask myself, “Is it Cinco de Mayo?” Even in November.
