I kept all my CD’s from when I was younger to play in my car when I got one. My first car didn’t have a CD player they’d already moved onto to USBs I was so sad 😂 I really want a CD player in my car so I can play music I want without having to plug my phone in

Physical product I think is almost essential. Limited production runs of vinyl, cassettes and CDs are excellent pieces of merchandise for memorabilia and sell really well. People don’t use them as much for sure, but there are a growing amount of audiophiles and collectors who appreciate physical product.

Yes. There is still a market and a lot of people put a lot of effort into the whole package. I've slowed down a bit but still typically buy 20 or so each month. My collection currently exceeds 2000. All bar a handful are albums.

I buy them to support bands but I have no idea what to do with a disc anymore.

Biggest point for CDs is that a company can't suddenly stop you from using physical media, whereas "owned" streams can disappear 🤔

I still buy CDs if I really like the artist. I have an older Bose Wave CD player that I think sounds nice. I got it for free and I actually use it a lot. I like having physical media

Love CDs.. tactile objects and my car still has such a great Sound-system that can play CD I can’t bear to get rid of it!
