My nephew (special needs) does horseback riding. The horses they get are rehabilitated from the Amish. Not treated well at all. Abused w whip marks all that stuff.

I follow an account called Colby's rescue crew, and they save former Amish horses from being sent to Canada to be slaughtered for meat, these poor things are emaciated, have oozing infections, and are very sick, made me lose all respect for  Amish people🤬

You’re right many do treat animals like crap and are the biggest animal breeders. Not all of them are like that though a huge majority are. Still if they are really building homes for those in NC that’s something to appreciate. Tho people there need help and at the end of the day if I needed to house my family and a jerk built my home… I’d take it.

I’ll never understand people who are more worried about animals lives than actual humans! Would you rather them not help build up a community after a devastating loss
