Today my son (who turns 12 tomorrow!) went to his first audition for anything ever!
It was for his middle school’s annual musical, which is “James and the Giant Peach” this year.
He was a WRECK of nerves leading up to it- I talked with him a lot about why he wanted to do the show (did he feel like he “should” bc his sister was? did he think we expected him to?) and I reminded him he could change his mind at any time about auditioning in the first place or could be part of the crew etc.
