None of this matters. The only ones that matter are the recruiters and the hiring managers. They're the gatekeepers, literally. The question then is, do the recruiters and hiring managers care about degrees or not? Anecdotally, I've seen many coders without Computer Science degrees. However, I have never seen anyone with no degree.
