Mine Sauro was a Mpls police officer who beat a man who was awarded $700K. Sauro was fired twice after that and reinstated both times by the arbitration panel pursuant to the CBA. He was ultimately put in charge of the sex crimes unit that lost nearly 2K rape kits. Finally, they made him a trainer and he retired only recently. Imagine what it does to workplace culture to keep a thug like that around.
