Mortgage is derived from the word "Mort" which signifies death, you buy a mortgage fool yourself that you bought a home, you try to pay off the mortgage you get hit with property tax, maintenance, remodelling, inflation, and when you finally paid off the mortgage, you are ready to die and your kids are the only ones that benefit from the home
