I also know 2 women that had abortions over 40 years ago. They to went on to become successful women, wives & mothers. They still grieve the child they aborted & wish they had the maturity & support to make a different decision.

That goes to show abortion isn’t something people do for fun or light-heartedly. Also, don’t forget “I wish I’d had another choice” doesn’t mean “I made a bad choice I regret”. Pro-choice =/= pro-abortion, and most of us want better sex-ed, welfare, and support for new parents. Of course, if you can provide a pregnant woman who wants to keep the pregnancy with the support she needs, that’s great. If you can’t or she doesn’t want to do it, though, support her through the abortion. That’s it.

Me and my pro-choice friends agree with you! We know that lack of that support system is often a factor in that decision. So, we also support things like comprehensive sex education (proven to reduce unwanted pregnancies), affordable childcare, improved public transportation, raising the minimum wage, expanding programs like SNAP to reflect the current economic situation rather than old income levels, Is there anything you support that I'm missing on that list?
