When I was 7 weeks pregnant for the first time, I was 26 years old and kind of high risk, so I was seeing my oby/gyn weekly. I had started bleeding and they did an ultrasound, and the sad look on the nurse's face said everything to me. She told me there was no longer a heartbeat, and I started crying. She tried to reassure me, saying that sometimes these things happen, but that there was a risk this was a molar pregnancy.
