My outright dislike of Max Verstappen is well documented here and elsewhere- but above all else, I am a huge fan of F1 as a *sport*, and what he accomplished today was nothing less than an absolutely epochal drive. Kept his focus, did not put a wheel wrong, did not barge into anyone - truth be told, this may have been the cleanest race he has ever driven. That was a drive worthy of a champion. It may not last, LOL, but today, Max Verstappen has my admiration and I can only applaud his effort.

LN will return to his winning ways, hopefully with a lot more maturity after this defeat. His maturity will probably have lots to do with his “parenting” by the team. How he comes out of this will be largely on his team. Hopefully McLaren is in it to produce good, all rounded drivers and not just arrogant winning cocks!
10 小時內	Paul Morris ruskeemo	I'm a big Norris fan, and I dislike Max's driving approach, which I consider unsportsmanlike... however, Interlagos gave him a chance to show his real skill - wow, what a drive... patience when needed, ruthless when he could be & Red Bull nailed the strategy too - a well deserved win.
10 小時內	Randy Thuro 27senna	I witnessed Senna driving in the rain at the Montreal GP, in the JPS Lotus. His car control stood out like a sore thumb. He was in a different league. I felt the same way watching Max’s drive in the rain yesterday. Next level talent. Sure he’s done and said some dumb things along the way, but his control, his ability, his raw talent is among some of the best, ever. Like I said to myself the first time I watched Senna drive, this man is destined for greatness.

But it does not take away what he have done before yesterday till he show consistent improvement on wheel to wheel racing with others. Yesterday is a legit statement win but also a legit validation of the criticism because he can race so clean in an extreme condition. Surly he can do that at normal times. Time will tell but I doubt he will.
