I don't use Spotify largely because I'm someone who never stopped collecting physical media, and why would I pay to access digital music that I already own. While I would never shame someone for using Spotify, I would encourage people to use other ways to support the bands and artists they listen to. Go to their shows/concerts, buy their merch, if they're an independent band buy their music on Bandcamp (digital downloads on there are pretty cheap, and it's still way more than Spotify pays out
