Lifting weights has been one of the best things for my ADHD, because I realised that a lot of my “anxiety” is actually just tension building up in my body from a lack of movement; half the time it’s not even mental, it’s purely physical.
Lifting weights & moving my body really feels like it pushes out all that tension & chaotic energy; making my brain feel way less overwhelmed as a result.
