17 years ago, pregnancy was super scary for me psychologically, even though I chose and wanted a baby very much. I'm sitting here now just thinking about how scary it would be even choosing to get pregnant in Alabama, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, or West Virginia. I absolutely wouldn't let my daughter do it. I would do whatever it took to move her to a blue state.
