Story of my life. I once had a podiatrist ask me how I did at the dentist with novacaine and I explained I needed extra because I am a redhead. He didn't believe me, only gave me one shot in my toe to remove my toenail. He started to remove it and I was like "Uh I can feel that." He said, "Oh you weren't kidding." No sir, I was not. 🙄

Yeah, strawberry blonde here and I discovered this when I was 11 and had four teeth removed and felt e v e r y t h i n g 🫠 The stitches I had after tearing giving birth were fun.

Three needles minimum for a filling, and that freezing has left the building an hour after I’ve left the appointment. When I was a kid, I had to get four teeth pulled (no room, all molars). The first three: didn’t feel a thing. The fourth: I yelled right in the dentist’s ear.

This just happened to me and my dentist was surprised I didn’t have red hair. My brother and sister are red heads though. The dentist now has a special note on my file.

Finally found a dentist who was just fine giving me as many shots as it took. And when I had my thoracotomy the anesthesiologist came in- FIRST thing he said was, “is that your natural hair color? Don’t worry, I got you!!” It’s nice they know now at least!

This happens to everyone in my family and none of us have red hair. It’s a pain.
