This is my Grandma Helen. Number 8 out of 12 kids *waves in Catholicism* and second-Gen American, she was whip-smart. Skipped a couple of grades and they ran out of math classes for her to take before she finished high school. She loved sports - that’s her 2nd from the left w her softball team in the ‘30s. UD told her she was too shy for college (🤨) and to come back when she was a year older. 1/5
