What I want our daughters and all disenfranchised and disillusioned to think about, especially if you aren’t planning to vote. When my grandmother was born women were not allowed to vote. When my mother was born and even when she married, women were not allowed to have their own bank accounts or credit card. When I was born women couldn’t serve on juries in all 50 states nor could we be ordained or get an Ivy League education. All this was even later for women of color. 1/2
