I am leaving Tokyo, Japan today. After being here for 5.5 months here are some observations about living in Japan based on my experience so this can apply to you or not: * Everyone outside of Japan think Japan is so modern in everything but in reality Japan is still pretty conservative and traditional in their values. * Women love wearing long sleeves and long skirts (younger women wear short skirts) even during the summer. The color of fashion mostly white, beige, gray, black, and soft pink.
