2 NY teams and an LA team in the mlb league championship series. When you have unlimited payrolls this is what you get. Hard for small market teams to really compete. This is where I lose interest in the season.

You’ll see the Yankees net around 3 million and the Rays over 50 million. The problem may not be how high a payroll is, but how low some teams insist on keeping it.
