Your pic is indeed a bluetongue lizard, but look at the differences with the one in the OPs pic (which is a shingleback/ stumpytail/ bobtail lizard). Both species are found commonly across Australia but the shingleback's scales are way more lumpy and it's tail is rounded whilst the bluetongue's tail is pointed.
