My four year old woke me up at 7am and I told her it wasn’t awake time and she could either go back to sleep or go play in her room. It’s 8am and she is still playing in her room while I am enjoying a hot cup of coffee. This might just be a fluke but moms, it’s getting easier. I feel like we are starting to turn a corner and I am getting more and more independence back. If you’re in the trenches, hang in there.
