No one talks about how weird it is to be 'young' and notice the first fine lines coming up near your eyes or mouth. About the realization that you've officially reached the age where cell death outpaces it's regeneration. Seeing the first grey hair. No one talks about the mind. How our bodies are aging before our very eyes, but our hearts feel as young and yearning as they were in our teens.

A few decades later with some healing and therapy, I realize I feel fine being whatever age I am, but I reject the cultural templates given to me that ignore my reality. I am not alone so I'm doing it for others in my position as well.
