I find him abhorrent, but I also strongly believe that success of SpaceX and Tesla would have never happened without him. Hard to stomach perhaps, but true. Sometimes great people (the engineers) need a pushy bastard to rally behind to get shit done. Likewise Steve Jobs was the driving force behind Apple’s rise. My grandson did a summer internship at SpaceX & everyone loves & admires him. Maya thought that Elon was just dreaming when he said that everyone in the world should have access to the internet. And he started Starlink. Look how it has helped people in western NC & Ukraine. And he has given it free for 1 year. Kamala was in charge of 42 billion budget for copying Starlink & there is not one person connected.
