“Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity” Most folks call this Hanlon’s Razor. It seems to be an admittedly pointed yet effective way to poke holes in the arguments of conspiracy theories and conspiracy theorists. This is especially the case when their natural response to the above maxim is: “That’s exactly what THEY want you to believe!”
