Sounds like you're a first time traveler. Central Jakarta is a city of more than 2 million people, there are many ATM within few hundred metres. Any ATM will work as long as associated with your card (visa/mc) for which logos are down on the ATM. Withdrawal limits are set by your bank, but besides that you usually can't withdraw more than 3 times per day.
