We say Deli, Corner Store, or the store. Tell me you’re not from Nyc without telling me you’re not from nyc. No one says Bodega. You watch too many movies.

Born and raised New Yorker from the Bronx lived here 36 yrs many of us call it bodega, there was a time a good portion of these places were runned by Dominicans and Puerto Ricans .

I grew up on Long Island and we said both. Both yeah if it was owned by Hispanics/Latinos we called it bodega. In general sometimes just say going to the corner store

Born and raised in NYC and still live in NYC. Bodega is used if the store is predominantly Spanish speaking. Especially in Washington Heights and certain parts of The Bronx. Corner store, store and Deli are more commonly used though.
