no absolutely not. many people meet the bpd criteria without meeting the autism criteria. autism is a neurodivergence present at birth, while BPD is formed through trauma in childhood. there can be overlap, yes, but they are absolutely nowhere close to the same. i am diagnosed with bpd and autism and my struggles with both are extremely different and independent from each other.

‘BPD’ or EUPD is caused by childhood trauma. Lots of ND people also get traumatised and are more prone to being traumatised. That doesn’t mean BPD is part of autism, not at all.
